This is a sampling of the services I offer.  My 30+ years of retail banking and credit union expertise includes experience building a credit union from the de novo level and all of the competencies necessary for that process. 

Why CU Colleagues is Better

We have not yet met; but I hope to have that pleasure someday. There is a comparative evaluation process we all use when we shop. When we practice this comparative shopping skill we objectively balance quality, function, design, style, ease-of-use, reliability and, of course, price. We use this same evaluation process when choosing a services vendor, and especially a knowledge/skill vendor like a performance consultant. Unlike retail shopping, though, performance consultant comparative factors also include the interpersonal relationship, flexibility, follow-up availability. We’re always looking for value for the price and avoid impulse purchasing.

CU Colleagues’ cost/value proposition is very appealing. Unlike big consulting firms, high overhead costs for facilities lease, salaries, fringe benefits are not built into my base fee rate. Also, most consulting firms have functional specialists for accounting, collections, loans, investments, etc. And they may bring two or more of these bodies to your engagement, filling your offices and interfering with your operations. Their time-consuming and structured diagnostic scheme will identify as many “issues” as they can to add billable time to their fee when, really, most of your programs/processes are working well enough, for now. I will work face-to-face with you and your staff to acquire an objective, no-judgment, “fresh eyes”, compassionate, assessment of your operations and processes, and will work “hands-on”, to implement best-practice solutions. My recommendations will be flexible, easier to implement and as inexpensive/DIY as possible. Nowadays, everybody goes to YouTube to search for “how-to” advice. Think of me as your more flexible and friendlier how-to video.

The best leaders share a common mental characteristic. It is their vision/prophecy for their organization. Leaders know what it looks like at the end. You and I know what your credit union looks like at the end of your transformation and I will have your back until it’s done.
